Find answers to common questions

Is PartyStream only for creators?
No. You can join to watch livestreams and videos, listen to music, follow people and take part in the community. You do not need to be a partner to enjoy content that is available to your account.
How do I join while Guestlist mode is active?
Registration is by invitation while Guestlist mode is active. Open your invitation link or enter your invitation code on the welcome page and complete registration. An invitation creates a regular account, not a partner account.
What if I do not have an invitation?
If applications are open, choose Interview on the welcome page and fill in the questionnaire. Tell us a little about yourself and include at least one social profile so we can review your application. We will email you the decision. If approved, you will receive an invitation link to register. You can apply just to watch; you do not have to be a creator.
What can I do with a regular account?
You can watch available content, follow profiles, react, comment and join chats where your account has access. You can also publish text and photo posts on your own timeline. Uploading videos or music, creating events and selling products use separate partner permissions.
Can I post in the feed without being a partner?
Yes. Regular users can create text and photo posts on their own timeline and share available content into the feed. Sharing an existing video is different from uploading a new video or music file: uploads are reserved for verified partners with the relevant permissions.
How do I become a partner?
Open the Partner section in your account settings, choose the partner type that fits you and follow the application steps. Partner identity verification is handled through Didit. Creator tools become available after the required verification and approval, according to the permissions of your partner type. Joining through Guestlist or an approved interview does not replace this process.
Are PRO membership and partnership the same thing?
No. PRO is a separate membership with the benefits listed in its offer. Partnership determines access to creator tools and requires its own approval and identity verification. PRO membership alone does not make you a verified partner or unlock partner-only uploads.
Who can upload videos and music?
Uploads are available to approved partners whose identity verification is approved and whose partner type allows uploads. Account restrictions and the current upload limits still apply. Use the upload option available to your account and wait for processing to finish. Only upload content you have the right to publish.
How can I start a livestream?
If livestreaming is enabled for your partner account, open Live. You can stream through OBS using the connection details shown there, or use the browser option when available. Keep your stream key private. Having a regular account or a Guestlist invitation does not itself grant broadcasting access.
Who can create events and sell products?
These tools are for verified partners whose partner type allows events or product sales. A partner may have access to one tool but not the other. Regular users can browse available events and products, mark interest, attend free events or buy tickets and products when those options are available.
Does an invitation give me access to all content?
No. A Guestlist invitation lets you register. Private content, age restrictions, fan-club access, paid videos and event tickets still follow their own access rules. An event invitation also does not replace a ticket for a paid event.
Are play tokens real money?
No. When play-token mode is active, tokens are test balances used to try features such as tips and purchases. They cannot be withdrawn as money. Test balances and test transaction history are cleared before switching to real-money mode; play tokens do not become a cash balance.
How do I change the language?
On your first visit, PartyStream chooses a supported language from your browser preferences. You can change it at any time using Language in the sidebar. Your choice is remembered; when signed in, it is also saved to your account.
Where can I get help?
Use Help in the sidebar to contact support. Tell us which page you were on and what happened. A screenshot and the name of your browser can help, but never send your password, verification codes or stream key. For refund conditions, see the Refund Policy.
